Uzwela Foundation donated pre-loved clothing, shoes, linen and curtains to the Random Act of Kindness House. This is a community-based project that assists families in need within the Kempton Park area of Gauteng.
The project was set up by a retired couple who runs a WhatsApp group that people can message to ask for donations, and those who have items to donate, can offer. The group is called “RAOK House” because donations can be dropped off at their house, and they then distribute it to those in need.
Our donation included two pairs of rollerskates with knee guards, and fairy wings. We hope it will bring two girls a lot of joy.
